About the Event
Learn about the animals that help pollinate our plants, from the bird and the bee to the butterflies and trees.
Hear from the experts or go on a guided talk with our keepers and Horticulturalists. Visitors can build their own native bee hotel that they get to take home with them or listen at storytelling time for visitors at keeper kids.
From 10am until 3pm across Melbourne Zoo including the Bong Su Room, Forest Of Wonder, The Barn and Keeper Kids.
We’re proud to share that Elizabeth Mace, Operations Manager of Dalki Garringa Native Nursery, will be speaking at the event around 1pm, sharing her knowledge and experience around native plants and the importance of cultural and ecological restoration.
You’re welcome to bring your own picnic and enjoy the day surrounded by nature, or you can grab lunch from the Zoo's cafes and vendors. Don't forget to bring some spending…
