Kennedy Family Meeting for TOSA Stage One

Over the past five years, representatives of the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagalk Peoples (WJJWJ People) have been negotiating a settlement with the State of Victoria under the Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010. The terms of the first stage of a proposed settlement are close to being finalised, and the agreements are ready to be presented to and considered by the WJJWJ full group.

We recommend you set aside a couple of hours to review the settlement package. Kennedy Family rep Aunty Jennifer Beer and Marjorie Pickford, with BGLC staff and the lawyers advising BGLC and WJJWJ will be available to attend this information session to provide summaries of the package and to answer questions.
