Wimmera River Yarning Circle & BBQ Dinner

We invite the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagulk (WJJWJ Nations) Elders and communities to come along to a Yarning circle and meal.

We’d love to hear about your connection to the Wimmera River, creation stories and ceremonies of this area, both traditional and contemporary.

Your cultural knowledge and wisdom will go into our Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Impact Assessment and the planning of alternative truck routes for Horsham.

Let’s make sure WJJWJ Nations’ places are protected for future generations.
