Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergai & Jupagulk Peoples Full Group Meeting

The Full Group of the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagulk has been directed by the Federal Court of Australia to hold a Full Group meeting by the 30 October 2020 in order to settle aspects of the First People of the Millewa Mallee’s Native Title Application to which BGLCs directed by the Full Group is a Respondent.

Regrettably due to the Federal Court imposed time frames and restrictions on public gatherings arising from COVID 19 we are unable to hold this meeting in person. Due to the mentioned restrictions we have no choice other than to use technology to host this meeting. We understand that this is not the preference of our members and that it is unfortunate we cannot meet in person.

All Family Groups Representatives will be in attendance at the meeting. 

The meeting will be facilitated by BGLC. BGLC is here to support your attendance at this important meeting, and will be  providing a $20 data allowance to enable your participation. 

Meeting Notices will be sent to all Full Group members who have provided us with their email addresses, and both email and text messaging will be utilized to ensure as many people as possible are aware of and are able to participate in the meeting as possible.
