As part of the settlement negotiations, a Full Group meeting for the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia, and Jupagulk Peoples* has been scheduled for Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Regrettably, due to the ongoing restrictions and locked downs from COVID-19, we cannot hold this meeting in person. Due to the mentioned restrictions, we have no choice other than to use technology to host this meeting. We understand that this is not the preference of our members and that it is unfortunate we cannot meet in person.
All Family Groups Representatives will be in attendance at the meeting.
The meeting will support the settlement negotiation and other business that requires Full Group consideration and approval.
BGLC will facilitate the meeting. BGLC is here to support your attendance at this critical meeting and provide a $20 data allowance to enable your participation. This allowance will be reimbursed after the event.
