WALPA GUNGA DJA DULK Cultural Burning Program
For WJJWJ Peoples and Kinship Aboriginal burning has been interrupted for over a hundred years resulting in intense wildfires. It has highlighted the need for our community to take part and lead in re-implementing this culturally significant practice.

Monday 22 May 2024 at Bryterion State Forest, exact time to be determined depending on the weather.

Parking: Community members can park personal cars at the meeting point
Briefing Location: The briefing will take place on-site at the meeting point

Registration: Please register by sending an email to engage@bglc.com.au and we will send out additional details
If you are attending the Full Group Meeting, accommodation can be provided for Sunday night (evening of April 21, 2024, check out Monday morning).
Protective clothing will be provided, but participants will need to wear work/sturdy boots (not sneakers)
+ please bring your lunch and snacks.
